How to install your stove window easily
Replacing the stove glass is much easier than you imagine. We will guide you along the steps for the replacement and installation of your new glass.
- If it's possible, dissemble the door of your stove. It will ease the process.
- Spray some lubrification oil on the screws and wait for a moment.
- Loose the glass supports.
- Remove any remaining piece of glass on the frame and clean the emplacement of the glass; there probably are some ash stuck on that emplacement.
- Place the heat resistant rope around the glass (if you have one)
- Place the new ceramic glass on the door frame.
- Screw the fittings in their place, but not too tight to prevent the glass from breaking again when the door gets hot during fire time.
- Install the door again.
